Measure your windows. We'll send a ballpark within 24 hours.

We won't guess your house over the phone, but we will price your list against what jobs like yours have cost. Measure each window, pick the type and glass, leave your number, and a real person sends you a range by the next business day. The firm quote comes from the free measure.

How to measure a window for replacement

  1. Go outside if you can. Measure across the whole window, trim included, from the outer edge of the trim on the left to the outer edge on the right. That's the width.
  2. Top to bottom the same way, outer edge of the top trim to the outer edge of the sill. That's the height.
  3. Round to the nearest inch. We'll measure to the sixteenth when we come out; you don't need to.
  4. Count the panes. Look at the edge of the glass: one sheet is single pane, two sheets with a spacer between is double, three is triple. Most windows from the 1980s on are double.
  5. Note the type. Slides sideways: slider. Cranks open outward: casement (side-hinged) or awning (top-hinged). Doesn't open: picture. Slides up: hung.
  6. Take six photos. One of each side of the house from the street or yard, plus one window up close from inside and one from outside. They tell us the frame type and what the trim looks like, which is most of what a ballpark depends on.

Inside-only access? Measure the opening inside the trim and tick the box below. We'll allow for the frame.

Where should we send your ballpark?

Add your windows above, then leave your details. A real person prices your list and sends you a range by text and email within one business day.

Photos

Phone photos are fine. Each side of the house, then one window up close inside and one outside.

No photos yet. We can still price without them; the ballpark is just closer with them.

No obligation. We use your details to send the ballpark and, if you want one, book your free measure. Nothing else.

FAQ

Common questions

How accurate is the ballpark?

It's a real person pricing your list against what jobs like yours have cost, not a formula. It's close, but it isn't a quote. The firm number comes from the free in-home measure, because the price depends on what's behind the trim: rot, framing, how the old unit comes out. Most firm quotes land inside the ballpark range.

How fast will I hear back?

Within one business day, by text and email, with a range for your list and a couple of times for a free measure if you want one. Send it on a Friday evening and you'll have it Monday.

Do I measure the glass or the frame?

Measure the whole window including the frame, from the outside edge of the trim on one side to the outside edge on the other, then top to bottom the same way. Round to the nearest inch. If you can only get at it from inside, measure the opening inside the trim and tick the box; we'll allow for it.

What's the difference between retrofit and full-frame?

A retrofit insert fits inside your existing frame: less disruption and less cost, and it's right for most vinyl and wood windows in good shape. Full-frame takes everything out to the rough opening and is the right call for rotted frames, leaking units or the original aluminum windows. If you're not sure, pick retrofit and we'll confirm at the measure.

Does the ballpark include rebates or tax?

No. Rebates come off after the fact and depend on the program's rules; we check what you qualify for at the measure. GST and PST are added on the written quote. Removal, disposal and clean-up are included in our installed prices.
